Closed Doors (in colour)

How beautiful can simplicity be? This photo shows me that a simple blue door can fill a beautiful image under the right circumstances. The (almost) colorless surroundings make the door stand out even more. The seagull on the roof of the boathouse adds a funny accent.

The first thing that strikes me in this photo is the exciting atmosphere. The mural definitely contributes to that, but the light on the door is also a nice component in this photo. The garbage container makes the picture a bit more ordinary for me because of the different color. But the location and the moment are well seen by this photographer!

This is another wonderfully balanced image. The door in a beautiful place in the image and the bike that completes the picture. For me, the bike is perhaps a bit distracting from the theme 'closed door'. But that does not take away from the fact that this photographer has delivered a beautiful photo. Well done!

Stunning photo! The success of a photo, in my opinion, lies in having an eye for detail and composition. This photo is a successful example of that from my point of view. The blackened door with the beautiful handles and the eye-catching letterbox make this photo a well-balanced top photo for me. Well done!

This photo is also an example of a photographer with an eye for balance, graphic design and composition. The contrasts in black versus color and the division of the photo in which the door takes an inconspicuously prominent place make this photo from my perspective particularly successful.

Beautiful photo with so many beautiful details. The weathered wall and the wood that has also seen better days, but also the view through the glass make this photo particularly interesting to me. I don't know if there was more environment on the original or if this was the actual shot, but I would have liked it even better if there had been more image, especially at the top and bottom of the door.
