Cloudy Cityscapes

I enjoyed viewing this capture of what is a bustling city in a way that conveys a feeling of peace and serenity. The long exposure works very well in this composition. The movement of the water and the sky is muted and this also pacifies the whole scene. As if the volume of the city is turned all the way done. Very inspirational shot. Thank you for sharing.

What a moody shot this is! The dramatic sky on the background that lights the whole scene balanced off by the two solemn "figures" on the foreground stealing "the show" Lovely capture of the light reflecting pff the two buildings and cast on the water in between them. I appreciated the composition of the shot. The balustrade in the foreground leading the eye to the lonely figure and him staring to the distance leading the eye to the cloud. It works really well in making sure the attention is not stolen by the intriguing structure that takes most of the left half of the composition. Very inspirational. Thank you for sharing

I appreciated the abstract approach of the composition and how the commanding volume of the building on the right half is balanced by the empty sky with the single cloud on the left. The editing with the dark areas on the building also works well in adding to the mood of the whole composition.
