Very unique patterns here! I love the play of the angles with the light. Light and dark, good contrast, etc. This image is rich in many ways, but it remain a bit too abstract for me. I'm left wondering what more? No doubt this is a beautiful building, but the scale here is unclear and this image would benefit from some additional details or context by which to place the image and build around the structure - something to make me say 'oh!'.

I really appreciate the art of this image. Textures, form, lines, all astounding. I wish we had some more context to this image. Which way is up? down? The blues and oranges go together so well. The straight lines and angles complement each other, but I'm left feeling that something has been omitted or left out.

Fantastic image here that hits all the right spots! We have patterns, strong form, strong lines and varied lighting.

This is a good example of a wide angle architectural image. Note the use of people here, which gives us some scale.

The beautiful sunset complements the scene, reflecting off the buildings glass, and throwing some incredibly soft soothing light around.

The frame is filled with architectural beauty.

This image isn't as much about one building, or or design feature, but more about the architecture of a city and the way we live in a city and related to the place.

The person at the center really places us in the middle of this concrete jungle, showing off the scale of the place. We are surrounded by lines, patterns, and tones of the light as it bounces through the city, across straight and angled lines, and giving us a beautiful array of tones.

I love the simplicity of this architectural photo.

With three circular windows, three square windows, and the three sections of the spiral staircase, this image is quite stunning.

I feel like it would benefit from being brighter and given more contrast, brighter whites and blacker blacks to highlight this simplicity.

I love the shadows there!

From just about every angle we have lines and shadows coming from the sun streaming through the structure.

I wish this photo had a tighter focal point to which to draw my eye. It's not quite a fully abstract image, and not quite not... I think committing more in either direction would have helped this image.

Though this image is very, very abstract, it is a wonderful architectural image. I wish I had some more context to the building, such as something that might tell us the scale. This almost reads as a macro photography image. Some sort of scale, say a person, would add a lot to this image. I do love the varied tones and use of light, with the white edging setting everything off.

Quite a unique image. I love the simple primary colors! This feels beachy and summery. It's abstract enough to make me enjoy the simplicity of the form and color, but the image also offers enough context to contribute to a sunny, beachy, playful vibe.

I love that this image didn't rely entirely on an odd, quirky building.

Instead, this image explored the building in context photographic essentials. Strong exploration here of light, tones, lines, and patterns.

This image really took advantage of the moodiness of architecture - and the way structures look very different in the day and in the night. In clouds and harsh sun. Their meaning and mood changes.

This image took advantage of the use of a tripod to show off this structure.

Light, angles, and tones give way to a monolithic architectural image.

Really beautiful light in this image. The cloudy skies provide soft, enveloping light that this structure plays with well.

Discordant angles and textures envoke a cartoonish image, but one that is at the same time metallic and futuristic.

A tonally rich image that works very well in black and white.

Another great image! I love that we have so so many 90 degree lines here!

Square and rectangles are nestled inside one another, with some beautiful tones from the angled molding around the windows.

I love the image is offset, with the center sky square in in the middle of the frame, creating varied space around it.

The colors here are wonderful as well. The blue green and yellow tones complement each other well.

When big business and famous architects come together, the result is often grand, signature buildings that proclaim a company’s success and change a city’s skyline. But commercial architecture - buildings and spaces that are used for commercial purposes - includes all office buildings and retail outlets, and is immense in its variety - of styles AND quality. In this contest we're focussing solely on exterior views. *This contest is open to Photocrowd subscribers (Challenger/Pro/Master), or by purchasing entries.*

Love this simplicity! Everything from the colors to the lines works for me. I wish this was perhaps taken at a more opportune time fo day - dawn or dusk, and the photographer might have been better able to capture a wide range of tones.

An all around unique and solid architectural image which isn't relying on a grand building design.

I thought this was a really cool image. Some amazing lines in here, good, varied light, etc. Ultimately the crop gave me a weird feeling. I feel like the image is being taken slightly out of context or something is being hidden from me. Its a very nice architectural image, but something feel a bit off with it. It needs more space to breathe.

What great lines here! It's hard to tell which was is up, left or right. So many right angles in every direction - it's very nice.

I do wish the sky had some tone in it. With architectural photography, it is important to think about time of day, weather light, etc. I think this would have been more stunning had it been shot using a tripod during a darker period of the day, at sunset, or even at night, not allow for a more beautiful sky.

I think this is a great photo. It's busy, but in a good way. There is just so much going on, so many places for your eye to travel along these lines.

While its architectural composition is great, I'm distracted by the HDR-yness of it, and even more so by the graininess.

I want to see more varied, sweeping tones here and play of light here.

While I don't always love the frequent over-use of reflections in architectural photography, this image really works for me.

I love that we have an abstract image here that is not a fine, zoomed in detail. This image manages to be abstract yet also a wide, full view of an entire building.

The image is sharp, with varied tones, and wonderful use of light. There are straight lines, swooping curves, hard jagged angled, and simple triangles. There are really some fantastic lines, envoking the fish-like structure.

When it comes to architectural photography, composition is king, and this image shows this off brillantly.

I love the simplicity, the contrast, and the way the light takes full control of this building.

Rather than fine details, this image is unique in it's contrast and the basics of light. The image is warm and calm.
