Well done on 3rd place, well deserved! A very simple image and take on the brief but well executed and well named!. The intensity and moodiness of the main subject really captured me. A very well handled monochrome, I think his shirt and dark features helps with this. The focus is all on the subject, with just a slight capture of the chess board pieces to give context. Well done!

Well done on 1st place, well deserved! There isn't much wrong with this image, you have got so many points right in what is a very technically difficult field sport to photograph well. First of all I love the contrasting red and whites of the teams, a very pleasing blend in the image with very little background distractions which is often found at these events. The lead character is absolutely pin sharp, great depth of field and shutter speed capturing the action and atmosphere well. I also love the composition and leading path the player needs to get through in the field, finished off perfectly with the players eye contact, this just absolutely makes this image top class! Well done, great work!

Well done on the top 10 place, well deserved! How you've managed to train this reindeer to look into the camera as he passes, it must take dedication and practice! This image stood out as it was different, a very different sport and capture. I love the tight composition which captures both a human and animal perfectly, with very little background distractions, it almost feels like you are riding with them. Well done!

Horse racing isn't the easiest to photograph, considering the speeds, shooting position limitations, other competitors and background distractions - and you have hit each one of these challenges perfectly. The composition and framing are great, allowing the viewer to focus on the beautifully sharp/clear riders faces which oozes concentration and competitiveness. Well done!

Well done on a place in the top 10. A beautiful image of the Camargue horses in action, showing their strength and dominance. The conversion to monochrome has been well handled, focusing the viewer directly onto the main action in this image. The timing and composition are spot on, adding a great story and fit to the brief. Well done.

Well done on a top 10 place, well deserved! There were a few boxing images to choose from however this one stood out, you can almost hear and feel that blow thanks to the perfectly timed capture. The positioning and composition are also perfect. With most boxing venues we are battling with a lot of background distractions, however you have managed this perfectly. Well done!

Well done on 2nd place, well deserved! A great atmospheric action shot, drawing you into this competitive battle over the food. It was nice to see such a well executed nature shot amongst so many sports shots, with this keen perception of the task absolutely nailing the brief. I love the timing and composition of this shot, drawing the viewer right into the middle of the scene. The flying snow just adds that final touch to the drama. Well done.
