This image should be on the cover of the book "The Ugly Duckling". It instantly took my mind there and I actually got some emotion from this image. Although it is simple I felt that the concept, the fact that it tells a story, and the emotion it gives the viewer were all good reasons to place it in the top 10. I adore this image! So often members of the crocodilia family are mistaken for wood and visa versa. I scrolled thru the entries several times before choosing commendations and top 10.
