Crowds

This sea of people exemplifies crowds perfectly. So many humans crammed into one arena and yet there are clear divisions within the frame which are created by the seating arrangements in the bleacher sections. One of the important elements of this shot is that almost all participants are holding up their lighted phones. A sea of arms, as and phones as well as people. Well done..

I love this shot. There's so much energy here. The happy ladies all releasing their pink balloons creates a second place for the viewers eye. In other words, there are two levels of crowds here. The first being the women, the second being the balloons. The row of white tents also creates a nice divide between the two. The tight aperture and fast shutter speed work great here. Clarity all the way around. Great and vibrant shot!

This colorful image perfectly exemplifies a crowd of like minded people. Their white hats and the yellow turmeric make the image stand out. The viewers eye has so many places to look, as so many of the faces are visible within the crowd. The cloud of turmeric on the right side is semi transparent and doesn't break up the rhythm of the pattern being created by all the hatted heads. The relatively fast shutter speed helped freeze everyone, including the yellow dust crowd. Great shot!
