This is an enchanting and interesting take on the subject. The position of the figure, more or less completely horizontal in the frame, naturally has a dynamism, but I also like the tension the close proximity of the diver's fingers to the edge of the frame creates. For many this might be a touch too close to the edge, but for me it's spot on.
The relationship between the various elements works beautifully in this bold, confident capture. The protagonist, with V-shaped legs, the basketball, and the hoop all contribute to a dynamic story, firmly anchored by the line of dark trees at the bottom of the frame. I like the heavy monochrome treatment, which adds further impact to the image.
This is a great example of a long-exposure light trail image. The impressionistic vibe of the landscape as rendered through the movement is awesome. The light trails from the other cars' headlights add an edge, and the use of the rear-view mirror, car window and steering wheel add to the story as well as working as a good frame within a frame.
The dynamic composition in this stunning shot is amazing. I love that there is space among the craziness of the birds for the fisherman to occupy, and that their movement, in different directions, creates a sense of harmony in the avian chaos, but also adds to the story. The black-and-white treatment has been skilfully handled, producing lovely tones in the documentary tradition.

Dynamism is defined as ‘vigorous activity and progress’ which gives a broad scope for photographic interpretation in this contest. We hurl ourselves and our machines around in many different ways nowadays, as do many other creatures and things of this world.
