Fallen Logs and Tree Stumps

Kudos on your first image in your hobby! The placement of the hole with the fungi in the centre of the image allows the eye to be drawn into the image. And the outlying texture of the wood is an interesting detail. Nicely done!

The curves of the centre of the tree are interesting to follow. And the use of black-and-white enhances the detail of the tress and provides great shadows. Having the centre of the tree in the middle of the image works well with the rule of thirds of photography. Kudos.

I love how the single cut into the log seems to be emitting light. And the off set placement of the log off the centre of the image makes it a truly interesting image with the ground providing interesting texture. Kudos!

The tree is certainly detailed with strong lines and textures but the sky as the background works well as a dramatic feature. The horizon is even and long across the image and the wave crashing into the shore is a interesting element. Kudos!

I love the lines of the cut logs on here. The chaotic of those logs contrast well with the still uncut tree with the logger being the dividing point of the image. The colours are certainly vibrant too. Nicely done.
