Favourite Way to Get Around

This street car view is a wonderful take on the Favorite ways to travel contest with the use of color. The striking yellow of the street cars contrasts to the dullness of city buildings and streets. An especially fine touch is the reflection of the woman in the window on the front car. Well done.

This photo is a wonderful capture about a woman in nature doing an activity she loves and being present among the wildlife. The fog and water line create negative space, which the subject and her reflection fill in. Fantastic piece, thanks for sharing.

This is also one of my favorite ways to have moved about in the world - challenging if you also have a fear of heights, yet so freeing. Congrats on your courage. In terms of photo contest, you captured an amazing landscape and perfectly placed subject matter in the center of the photo. The positioning creates a satisfying concept of thirds in frame.

While there were many photos of aviation in this contest, this stood out the most with the airplane slightly left of center, brilliant sunlight coming from behind at sunrise, welcoming a new days, and the shadows and beams echoed on the paved road before. While this was a competitive contest with many amazing entries, this photo was quite captivating as it shared movement in two different directions: by foot moving up and away, and by gondola moving across from below. The lighting and adjustments highlight a couple candid moments in Venice.

This photo takes number 3 for my favorite ways to travel contest. The simplicity of two bikers against the immensity of the mountains beckons the viewer to also stand in awe and wonder, as well as desire to move in nature.

There is negative space with the monochrome white snow, so that the focus is on the athlete. The photo altogether evokes a sense of curved angle completeness, appreciated in abstract art, while contrasted with caution - while doing an activity, it is also on the edge of uncertain danger.
