Just a gorgeous image and cat! It is very hard to focus through grass but you did a great job. In my opinion the eyes are slightly out of focus. In my opinion having the cat cropped in the center works in this image. I would like to have seen the photo without the blurred part at the bottom and no vignette. This photo caught my eye from the very beginning. Well done! -Todd
Stunning shot! I really love this one and kept coming back to it. The focus is perfect. In my opinion it might be a stronger image if the cat was cropped to the left of the frame and a bit less saturated. However this is one of my favorites out of hundreds. Congratulation on a fantastic capture! -Todd
Fantastic capture! Definitely one of my favorites. There were so many great photos that I deliberated for hours and this one was always in the running. What a gorgeous kitty. This photo is composed perfectly. Also, the eyes are in perfect focus which is very hard to do with a kitten or any animal for that matter. I bet if the lighting was more dramatic this may have won. -Todd

Wow this is a stunning photo! It is very hard to capture a kitten in nature especially with such a narrow depth of field, but you pulled it off here. The clarity is amazing. I would be tempted to either center the cat or shift to the left using the "golden ratio". This could easily be a poster. -Todd
This outdoor cat looks like a warrior. He/she got in to a tough fight that injured the left eye and ear. The colors are very nice and compliment the eye color. It looks to me like the face is slightly out of focus. It might also benefit from cropping the face with the rule of thirds in mind shifting the cat to the right side of the frame. However it is a beautiful capture. -Todd
This is a striking image that caught my eye immediately. I love the warm side lighting. Also, excellent composition. This photo could have won this competition if the cat's face was in focus. I know this is a very difficult by chance photo so I understand the difficulty there but you did a spectacular job with this shot! -Todd
What a fantastic shot! This fits my brief perfectly. I love the colors. The focus on the eyes is perfect. Personally I may have adjusted the exposure and white balance a bit. It would have been interesting to see the image cropped with the cat to the left of the frame adhering to the rule of thirds. -Todd
