"It was Extremely difficult to pick a winning image as there were lots of good images that were submitted!

This image of Johnny Walker stood out to me, the story of a homeless man. The strong emotion of sadness in his eyes as he is often misunderstood and frowned upon in society.

The Photographer has managed to capture a fantastic portrait,-full of character and emotion. They have edited the image perfectly with great detail, contrast and manipulated the light's and dark's in the image creating great toning.

Congratulations

I love the painterly look, the styling and the overall look of the image!

My eyes are drawn straight to the model's eyes which are very sharp. I love the way the tones are muted, yet colourful and do not over power the image and everything compliments each other. A well balanced image that is blended together well. An overall pleasing portrait. Well done

Great example of trying something out of your comfort zone.

I like the combination of the colours and the textures used. It's good to experiment and try something new.

I like your creativity, composition and use of texture too. Well done

What do you consider to be Fine Art? Adding textures to photographs? A picture that tells a story? A style session? A recreation of a Masters painting? Art is subjective and viewed in many different ways, show me your work's of art, something perhaps out of your comfort zone, don't forget to include your reasons in the brief. This can be a scene, a person, an animal , a styled session, an individual creation.

This is a great portrait of a lady gazing out the window. The styling is brilliant. I love the building and the idea of the natural light coming through the window.

I just feel that there is too much light in places and the light does not look natural. If the light was toned down on her dress and subtly coming through the trees it would compliment the image further. Well done
