Fishing Gear

I love the natural moody, quiet and surreal feeling of the mist in this photograph, and know how difficult it can be to work with. With only the fishing rod to add depth, your composition and focal point add enough contrast to bring the photo to life.. I like the way the far tip of the rod seems to disappear into the fog. This is a beautiful shot the required a high degree of skill. Congratulations on an amazing photograph.

Thank you for entering this nice view of a telescopic fishing rod pole with spinning reel. The muted wood background (floor?) and driftwood accent piece provides a nice nautical touch to the photo. The hard green lure with blue and pink accents adds a refreshing pop of color. The treble hook makes me wonder what is for dinner tonight. Surely not a catch and release., though I can't tell if the barbs have been smashed down or not.. Lovely photograph.

I love this photo that fills the frame and has multiple levels that invite the eye to linger.. The macro detail of the ropes is amazing. I love the way the light bounces off the individual gray threads. The shallow focus works really well. I appreciate the contrasting colors of the other ropes and the water. The bokeh on the water surface adds a nice finishing touch. .
