It was a very tough decision for me to choose just one winning Image in this contest as the standard of Images was superb and everyone has created some wonderful pieces of art.
This Image is a winner for me as I love that the colours stand out in a vibrant way which really capture the light that falls through the tress shinning on to the lavender fields of the Abbaye Notre-Dame de senanque.
There is a nice composition that leads your eyes down through the Image which takes you through this field which then reveals this wonderful French landmark which works as you get to take in all of the details within this wonderful Image one moment at a time.
An all round superb Image you should be proud of the art you have created and congrats on 1st in this contest.

In this contest I am looking for your best photos of French landmarks. Try to show images that have wow factor to them, maybe that would even make people want to visit that landmark. Photos can feature any landmark in France, which must be the main focus of the image. Photos can be in colour or black and white.

This is a standout Image for me as I have never seen this type of composition done before on an Image from the Alps. It is a great 50/50 composition.
I love the colours within this work and I really like that the mountains are in focus and the meadow although blurred can still make out small details of the flowers.
Well done on this great Image and congrats on 2nd in this contest.
