From the ground

Beautiful unusual composition here ! I guess it is a double exposure . Those ghostly silhouettes and this old arch adds a lot to the mood of the photograph . The "wet plate/paper" effect is the only thing that I personally wouldn't have added , or maybe with less opacity . To me , it damages the overall image a bit and I would have chosen this photograph as the winner if that effect wasn't there . But again , it's still a superb and very unique photograph !! Congrats for getting the 2nd place .

I really likes those splashes shapes here . This photograph is the proof that you do not need a 3000 usd camera to get creative and capture beautiful things . The contrast between the blue sky and the storm coming is great . Hope your phone was still dry after that ;)

Composition and color tones are great here . And of course the camera couldn't have been better than placed directly on the floor like you did . The contrast between the several hundreds years old building in the center between those super modern glass walls is beautiful .

Look at that subject , wow ! It can sounds a bit weird , but I love it ! I can think of several different stories looking at this photo , everyone can choose their own . But I really like the mood that this , I suppose used to be a beautiful marine fish , adds to the photograph as it now looks like a really creepy Piranha carcass . Very well seen !

I like this moody still life photograph . Color tones and composition are beautiful . I believe the story didn't start so well and that the reader didn't bother reading it to the end to see if things would have get any better hehehe ... Very nice capture .

I don't know much about cars and have no ideas what brand and model is this one , but the point of view is very well seen to me , and the black and white process is very well done too . Bravo !
