Frozen Foods

This is a nice shot of frozen mixed vegetables that fills the frame. with interesting shapes and textures I can't tell from the photograph if they were commercially packaged or frozen at home.. Either way, it appears as though they were picked at the prime time and quickly frozen to preserve the texture, color, flavor and nutrition of the vegetables.. I love the bright, vibrant colors. The ice crystals are a nice touch in keeping with the theme. There doesn't appear to be any freezer burn, so I am guessing you applied a spritz of water and quick freeze before shooting. Altogether it makes for a very nice shot, and I thank you for your entry.

Congratulations on a beautiful photograph of blackberries. I would love to know more about your set up and technique. The frosty ice crystals coating the delicate berries are beautiful and don't appear to have been disturbed. I am guessing you used cold utensils to arrange them on your plate. Nor do I see obvious signs of frost on the plate as if you had positioned them, then put the entire arrangement into a freezer.. You must have moved quickly to arrange and shoot these plump beauties before the frost melted off. Still, you took time to add the pop of green garnish creating a very lovely and difficult shot. Well done.
