What makes this image stand out for me is the contrast. Due to the photographer's use of infrared the sky, building and the trees are very clearly defined.
This image makes the already stark buildings striking and I would commend the photographer on making a great photo of a place often overlooked by visitors.

Red roofs, a town square and people walking around living their lives. This image taken from above is a different perspective to that what others offered. What I like is that the photographer took and used the opportunity to capture a photo of a classically German town center and to show it from a different perspective. I wonder what some of the people are doing, I wonder what aspects I have yet to observe and what minute details I will spot next such as the two people in the crowd staring up to where the photographer is.

I would like to see your photos of Germany. Images could show cityscapes, landscapes or street photography of Germany. I am not looking for items made in Germany abroad or events celebrating German culture abroad, only photos captured in Germany.
A magical capturing of a beautiful scene. The golden colours hiding the young stag and the small depth of field which could be hiding more of his kind. I am glad to see Nature being entered into my competition as Germany has much beautiful nature to preserve. So many positives to this beautiful photo.
A world through a different perspective, which I have always wanted to capture. Well done for not only finding the opportunity to capture this but doing it so well. The framing of the shot is well done, not too close and not too zoomed out. The monotone colours really bring out the feeling that the weather may make you feel. While the people on the move bring a sense of dynamism and movement to the photo.

The vast circle draws one's eye in. However the scene within is not what my eye wants to focus on. My eye keeps getting drawn to the cyclist. I like how I keep wanting to look closer at the detail, looking at the perpendicular and parallel lines and following them to new aspects of the photo that I enjoy. Finally, I love how the monotone really brings out the metallic look of the shutters above the window.
Having been to this haunting location I think many photos don't capture the feeling well. The stark, the industrial and the bare stones which stand for much more. This simple photo brings to life the feelings of being at the memorial well and is effective in showing a piece of German history, German memory and German culture.
