Thank you for you entry in to the Ginger contest. It reminds me of a product advertisement that would be running now, i.e. at Christmas. I like the fact that the whole image is more or less the same gingery colour, and with the brighter bokeh lights in the background, it turns it into a warm and appealing image.
Thank you for your entry in to the Ginger contest. We had a few owl images but I liked this one, as I think you've captured a good moment here. The simple background does not distract from the creature, but I perhaps would have cropped the edges slightly. The title is appropriate to the owl's stature, although of course, we have no idea whether it is really feeling that way, or just asleep! A little more brown than ginger, but even so, a pleasing composition.
Thank you for your entry in to the Ginger contest. No portraits permitted, but as this is a knitted doll, it's fine! Refreshing to see a toy with ginger hair. I like the composition and different textures involved - woolly doll, linen book and the wooden surface. The colours compliment each other nicely, and the inclusion of the book makes the image more interesting.

Please submit your images relating to the colour ginger. Please note, however:- - No cats - No dogs - No portraits (people) The reason being that these subjects already feature quite regularly on Photocrowd. I expect some interpretation of ginger, but as long as you are more or less somewhere between gold, red and brown, you should be OK. You can take a look at the Pantone website or browse through a few paint colour charts for inspiration. Ginger encompasses a variety of colours so in theory, you really have Carte blanche here! To avoid any misunderstanding, if you enter an image that could be construed as a composite, please add details about how it was created. Other than those mentioned above, any images will be accepted, for example, gingerbread, ginger biscuits or jams; fruits; guinea pigs or squirrels; Christmas decorations; flowers or leaves, etc. Ginger often has a bad press so this is its time to shine! Bring on the ginger!
