Simple yet so effective. Initially I thought this was a little too dark and needed a better 'white' but I think the subtly in the greys add to the simplicity of the image and the slightly off centered balance the two signs give. It also stops the confrontational looking warning signs from being too in your face. I love that the tag on the post moves from the top of one post to the bottom on the next which just upsets the balance and symmetry nicely. I also love that the motorcyclist seems to be chasing the pedestrian... :-)

There are many layers to this image and you have successfully mentioned them all! Someone must have put that road sign there on purpose as it is perfect next to the Brexit related Banksy. I would have missed what the top graffiti said but that too works perfectly and balances the road sign in the frame. I'm not sure I would have kept the legs in the photo but that is just personal choice. Did you try a lower angle on this picture as that could have worked well. and made use of the cobbled floor. Well spotted on all the details in the frame.

A lovely landscape photograph with the decaying, graffiti covered remains of a building taking up nearly 1/3 of the image yet it feels small under the vast heavy clouds and the huge mountains behind. Good composition and nicely exposed. Well done for not over saturating the colours in the building as that would have dominated the frame and ruined the wonderful atmosphere of the shot.

**This contest is open to photographers ranked between 251 and 1000 in this week’s <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/photographer-community/">Leaderboard</a>.** Graffiti remains controversial, even though Banksy’s street art has brought a new cachet and air of respectability to the genre, along with a lot of collectors’ money. Graffiti ranges from simple ‘tags’ of the artist’s name, or slogans daubed on walls, bridges and the like, through to elaborate and stunning murals, sometimes with a social or political theme. Shooting work for this contest offers the photographer a good reason to trawl their local town or city looking for interesting street art, in interesting places.
