Half Empty, Half Full

This image of the 2 glasses is such a clean, fresh image. You have captured the splash action really well and froze it in time. The choice of a white background and your light source has brought the detail of the action out and I like that you can see the spills and swishing in the glasses. A great image which must have taken a lot of time and patience. Congratulations for a well deserved Judge 1st place and thankyou for entering my contest.

This is a great portrait image which gives a different look at half empty, half full. I love this concept and image. The lighting is great and the shadows have worked really well. This is a great image. Half empty steps but half full with shadows and a plant pot. I love how the shadows have cast on the steps in the zig zag way. The lighting you had was very good for this shot. You have made what would be mundane steps look rather interesting. A good image, thankyou for entering and well done on Judge 7th place.

This is a really interesting image. I feel that through viewing this and reading your description I have learned something about this amazing insect. I had to look a couple of times but eventually got it. I think its amazing that you got to watch them hatch and document them from there. A lovely, interesting image. I have put this image in my top 10 because it is a great action shot and an ''outside of the box'' image. I should imagine for this shot you was in the right place at the right time. You said in post processing that you had to make adjustments for the water to stand out, well it has certainly worked for you. A great image, well done on Judge 10th place and thankyou for entering
