Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The hippy era of the 60's had features, symbols and characteristics belonging basically soley to this era alone. The very colourful pschedelic colours were one of it's major features - this is clear as seen on many of their vehicles, clothing ect. Certain sayings were also prominent such as that of -Flower Power. all traits tend to take us back in time. Congratulations and well fone!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The hippy era had many of their own symols, characterisics and traits -one of which was the "Peace 'sign. They believed in free love, and peace and were totally against war and violence. This hippy is showing us the hand gesture to display this idea. Bog bold glasses were also the order of the day as well as the trendy headbands . Congratulations and well done!
Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge.. An image of the typical hippy showing toff the colours and traits of the 60's era. The hippy in question is wearing bright patterned clothing which was the order of the day- the look being totally psychedelic with jewelry to match. They catered for the typical hairsyle that being the renown "Afro" A big curly haisyle . Congratulations and well done!
Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The characteristics, symbols and features of the 60's era is clearly demarcated by this hippy. The bright , psychedelic colours were a prominent feature as seen by the clothing and background .These showing off pattened features. as prominent of the times. The round frames of the glasses, flowered headband and symbol all remain typical of the times. Congratulations and well done!

I would like to see all your photos that are related to hippes. Hippies were part of the counterculture movement of the 1960s and 1970s, typically being young people rejecting mainstream society and values who dressed unconventionally, had long hair, living in groups and communes and believed in peace as opposed to war and violence. The subject matter can be anything related to hippies, but try to be creative and innovative. Images can be in colour or black and white.
