This dramatic setting of the old mines, along with the long time exposure softening the sea, makes for an eye catching image. It is easy to imagine how hard it must have been to dig the mines and erect the buildings on this harsh Cornwall Coast. Congratulations on 3rd Place in Historic Building Exteriors!
There were many beautiful images of the Taj Mahal, but this composition grabbed my attention. The traditional view of the front is certainly lovely, however this focus on a partial view with strong details in the soft sunrise is captivating. Congratulations on your Top 10 in Historic Building Exteriors!
What a view of Mont St. Michel! This drone shot of the ancient church and buildings took my breath away. The lighting is beautiful with the fading sunset slightly illuminating parts of the island. Well done, and a worthy winner of Historic Building Exteriors! And many thanks to all who entered, and especially those who added notes about their chosen buildings!

This image of the charming Baddesley Clinton moated manor house is full of colour and fine detail of the building. The viewer can certainly see that it is an ancient building with the rough brick and stone exterior, clearly worn away over the centuries. A lovely image and congratulations on your Top 10 in Historical Building Exteriors!
