Horses Galloping and Cantering

Thanks for entering my contest. This photo is simply great!! I love the reflections on the water-they are so clear in the still water. I believe that this photo is a sort that is once-in-a-very small chance of getting, and a rare one. I think that this picture is really good in B/W.

Thanks for entering my contest. I love the action in this photo, and I ride western and work with cows so this photo is really great. I also like the rodeo event bulldogging as this is. The horse looks focused and a bit disturbed at the goings-on, as my horse would be if I did that.

Thanks for entering my contest. This photo caught my eye from the very beginning. This mare is a pretty horse and the entire photo is full of pleasing aspects. This photo being in black and white I think is better thank being in color.

Thanks for entering my contest. This photo is great!! I love the capture of the horse which seems to be enjoying itself in the rip-roaring run and the muscles bunching on it's chest as well as the dirt flying in the picture makes it great.

The first thing that made me put this in my top 10 was the capture of the landscape in the background and the rule of thirds of the positioning of the team and marathon cart. It seems to be the case that changing harness marathon pictures to black and white are a better choice over color.

Thanks for entering my contest. This photo is amazing, full of action, dust, western riding style which I ride in sometimes, and the calf-roping aspect of the picture is lovely as well, the rider getting ready to throw and the horse getting ready to do his duty for the human.

I normally don't LOVE photos of barrel racing; but this one is good because the horse looks eager and focused, not angry or distressed like usual pictures, and the angle that you shot at is super! The dust under the horses feet and the good blur of the crowd is also good aspects.

The viewer can't see the horses very well, can't tell very well that they are galloping, but I know horses well enough to tell that they are. The selection of colors in this photo are amazing and the setting is as well.

Thanks for entering my contest. This photo's composition is great. The Arabian/Barb/Marwari horses are super fast and the Arabian-style tack on them is pretty too. What I really love is the smoke and dust mingling behind and under the horses. It makes for a really cool effect.

Thanks for entering my contest. This is a lovely photo of barrel racing, full motion capture and non-blurriness in the wrong spots. If I were you, I would put the watermark a bit smaller and not in the middle of the photograph.

Thanks for entering my contest. This photo is great as the horse is suspended above the ground; the yellow flowering bush in the background is what caught my attention, and the quality of the photo is great. Having the shot from front on-view is a great aspect.

Thanks for entering my contest. I like seeing a photo of South America because I live in South America, in Uruguay. The typical style of dressing and the criollo horses and the unique saddles with the pelugos ( sheepskins) are mostly my lifestyle now. The photo itself is great, the horses enjoying the race and the gauchos trying to beat each other.

Thanks for entering my contest. I think that this photo is super cool, I have never seen any pictures of a western studio, I have seen a few westerns so like the setting but a picture from the studio of a western movie set is indeed interesting and different.
