Fantastic capture of the landscape, river and night sky. I do know 5he area and can really appreciate just how much hard work and preparation went into this. Thank you for sharing the image and entering the contest my heartiest congratulations and also for inspiring me for my next trip to Scotland

This is a timeless image of the canals and is well” captured in possibly challenging light conditions. The light is bringing out textures in the thatch but the Gable is a little bright & distracting but not burnt out. The shadows in the water do bring out the ripples and details

The colours of the trees reminded me of “Turners Fighting Tremaraire” you have captured the light in a ghostly manner that gives the image real depth. And the reflections compliment this well. A very well composed and thought out image. Congratulations

Fantastic sunrise over my home city, the quality of the light in the sky and river is o perfect, I have been eying to think of ways that this could be improved and can’t think of anything other than possibly lightning city hall to bring some detail, excellent image against really tough competition

You have captured the character of the “bargee” as well as all the details of the canal ware whilst keeping the background out of focus, this is a very good portrait. The brightness of the top of the hat just draws my eye away from the face and impressive set of whiskers

This is a really amazing and striking image which has had me puzzling about the lighting on the tree and it’s stunning reflection. In fact at first look I thought it was a dragon having a drink. The colours compliment the stark beauty really well done
