**Before entering this contest please take a look at the work of Hiroshi Sugimoto, particularly his iconic <a href="http://www.sugimotohiroshi.com/seascape.html">Seascapes</a>.** Since the 1970s, Hiroshi Sugimoto has investigated the visual representation of history through his photography. He does this through exploring themes of time, empiricism, and metaphysics, and has become especially iconic for his minimalistic seascapes and black and white images or everything from wildlife to portraits. We'd like you to do some research into this great photographer, and come up with your own Sugimoto-inspired photos.
