Meet the judge

Thank you Alan for joining my “Intentionally blurred trees (in camera)” contest and congratulations on your 9th place! Even if the title speaks about "winter", this image gives me a spring atmosphere. Perhaps because of the abundant light that passes through the sparse trees and creates patches of sunshine on the ground or the pastel colors among which the blue of the trunks stands out.

Thank you Gilbert for joining my “Intentionally blurred trees (in camera)” contest and congratulations on your first place! This image stands out with the cleaning of the composition. The perspective of an avenue with two rows of trees of different colors, the trunks as simple black marks. Dominant white enhances the minimalism and the graphic effect.

Thank you Ange for joining my “Intentionally blurred trees (in camera)” contest and congratulations on your second place! This photo struck me at first glance for the pictorial look of the large tree that fills the frame, with its warm colors, yellow and orange, and the soft aspect.

Thank you Sarah for joining my “Intentionally blurred trees (in camera)” contest and congratulations on your 6th place! These trees in the snow almost seem to emerge from a vaporous sea. Many vertical bare trunks that create a great depth to the composition.

Thank you Alan for joining my “Intentionally blurred trees (in camera)” contest and congratulations on your 10th place! A strip of abstract trees that contains a wide range of colors that remind me of Gauguin's. Many oblique brush strokes with warm shades that convey cheerfulness.

Thank you Gavin for joining my “Intentionally blurred trees (in camera)” contest and congratulations on your 3th place! A magical atmosphere, a dark wood of closely spaced trunks, is enlightened by the branch in the foreground. The small golden leaves look like light spots in a delicate pictorial effect.

Thank you Terri for joining my “Intentionally blurred trees (in camera)” contest and congratulations on your 8th place! This row of trees with white flowers creates a poetic scene, this feeling is amplified by the delicate blur that creates a pictorial impression.

Thank you Gary for joining my “Intentionally blurred trees (in camera)” contest and congratulations on your 5th place! A fine pictorial effect. Subtle white trunks, like bright stripes on an evanescent background showing all the warm shades of autumn trees.
