That's a great street photo! On first sight, you'd say that the juxtaposition of the image is the woman with the black burqa and the little girl with the red. But all the advertisements on the back are also juxtaposed with the woman walking. Especially the young couple kissing really caught my eye. Great job, congrats!

Most of the images submitted for this competition was old VS new buildings. I have to say that this is my favorite among them. Minimal shot, with clean lines. The silhouette of the "old building" is the only thing needed to juxtappose with the new one on the front. The use of B&W is excellent. Really great image, I love it!

This is the second image that I find very interesting. The Maasai warriors, wearing their traditional costumes are in full juxtaposition with the laptop that draws their full attention. I cannot tell if this belongs to any one of them but they surely seem like they enjoy what they see quite a lot. Great candid shot!

I love this shot! It is very well executed and quite interesting. The Maasai warrior is holding the camera as a pro (well, almost) and his pose with the camera gives a great juxtaposition. When you start noticing details, you will also see his watch, in full contrast with his traditional clothing and bracelets. Well spotted and even better captured! Congrats!

Lovely shot. Fire and water are two archetypal opposites. Yet in this shot they are combined in a unique way. I'm not sure how this happened, but the result is quite interesting. Needless to say that is one of the most unique submissions too.

Juxtaposition happens when there are two or more elements in a scene that either contrast with each other, or one element contributes towards the other to create an overall theme. It’s all about making the viewer wonder why we chose a certain viewpoint for the photo and why we decided it was good enough to share with others. To create a point of juxtaposition, the photo must contain at least two elements with strong visual weight. The viewer looks at both of these at the same time, coming to their own conclusion about the purpose of each element.
