We really love this image for a number of reasons. The photographer has composed this shot to absolute perfection – the lighthouse sits perfectly underneath the milkyway and the glow from the beams of light from lighthouse combined with a hint of the sun on the horizon adds to the overall effect. The photographer has skilfully stacked three images together in order to enhance the stars captured in the sky. The colour palette in this shot is more like a traditional astro image with an interesting twist of the inclusion of the lighthouse.
