Lighthouses

The infamous St Mary's lighthouse picture you have taken here with the beautiful water reflections along the causeway, with the morning skyline makes this image feel very real. This is one of my favorite lighthouses to visit and photograph myself. Congrats on your 3rd placed shot.

This aging lighthouse photo is the one that really stood out for me with the background of the vivid sky of colours against the low tide. The 8 mile walk was well worth it for this 1st placed shot. Old but not forgotten rusty lone lighthouse on the beautiful Gower coastline. Congrats on your very well deserved 1st placed winning picture.

I can honestly say I would frame this and hang it on my wall, beautifully shot.

The good use of foreground and long exposure in this shot really drew my eye to this lighthouse picture. The sharp contrast of the rocks against the smokey sea and the use of light made it for me. Congrats on your top 10th placed picture.

The black & white tones work well along with the action you have caught in this picture, the sea almost touching the lighthouse and the waves against the sea wall makes this image feel so alive, the better picture of the 2 submitted IMHO. Congrats on your top ten place picture.

Great stormy lighthouse shot, the powerful action of the waves really enhanced this picture for me. If I may be allowed to remark on your signature to say how it's small and neatly put to one side as not to spoil the shot, also the sometimes much-overlooked EXIF is present in this picture, but a little more detail about the picture story would have been nice. One place I've been meaning to visit and photograph for some time, beautiful capture of this lighthouse from the coast on Anglesey. Congrats on your top 10 placed picture.

Wonderful capture of this lighthouse with the wind sand and sea, well worth framing on a wall IMHO.

Not easy to take photos from boats with so much movement, even more so when the skipper is circling the lighthouse, hope you had use of a tripod, but thankfully the weather cleared up enough for you to take this picture, by the looks of it you had a lovely day trip out at sea.
