The interior of a large library does not fit into the most common architectural images, but this excellent shot has a long series of advantages. First of all, given also the theme of the contest, we have a perfect interpretation of the linear perspective, strengthened by the two lines of balconies that lead to the vanishing point, which is located at the bottom, which creates an impression of grandeur. Then there is the splendid texture created by the thousands of books. Homogeneous colors vary from dark brown to yellow. Congratulations on this well-deserved result.

Contemporary architecture lends itself very well, with its skyscrapers, in search of perspective images. This one in particular, I find has something more that makes it interesting. All the lines of this hotel interior, with seven floors of windows, point towards the large window located in the ceiling. In addition to the shapes, the colors contribute to the success of the photo, where the white, almost light blue, of the walls, contrasts with the bright yellow of the illuminated windows.
This photo frames the bottom of an ancient bridge. All the lines of the arches point to the same vanishing point, located in the exact center of the image. What gives added value to the photo is the excellent disposition of the people who are under the bridge. Starting with the couple in the foreground, whose contrast is really excellent, to end with the people in the background, and above all the man dressed in white standing, perfectly in line with the couple in the foreground, and therefore of a much larger size small for the perspective effect.

This contest is for your photos that show linear perspective. Linear perspective is created by lines that converge towards one or more vanishing points, giving the image a sense of depth and three-dimensionality. People and objects in the foreground are much larger than those in the distance. The lines can be visible such as the tracks of a train, or imaginary such as a series of windows. In judging the contest I will consider only images where the sense of perspective is given by converging lines. Entries can be in colour or black and white. I hope you have fun with the contest.
