Without the need to show the full subjects you have captured the moment perfectly the look on the poor fish says it all beautifully composed image, the detail and sharpness you nailed it a well deserved highly commended image keep up the good work

This image really stood out for me, the little mouse just sat there feeding without a care in the world as lots of people walk by on a busy busling street on kings day in Amsterdam, the low perspective works very well a very worthy commended image well done.

i love how you have captured the moment the young starlings taking a bath with the adult coming into land, it tells me a story which photography is all about, its framed nicely and sharp with good detail, keep up the good work

A beautiful capture of the fox the timing is perfect certainly capturing the moment i love the detail and sharpness and the DOF and how its tongue curls up as it yawns very well done and keep up the good work

What a cracking photo of the Stag beetle very sharp with good detail, i am not sure how low down you were but i think it would have had even more impact if you could have shot from ground level, but still very well done a really nice close up image keep up the good work

What a stunning photo of this bumblebee, you have focused on the eyes as it feeds on the flower its sharp with very good detail in all the right places with good DOF, i also like the way the flowers drop out of the image behind the bee nice composition keep up the good work

I love how you have composed the image with the heron and the sky in the background, i have seen lots of photos like this where the subject is too dark or the sky is too dark you have got the balance just right the bird is very sharp with good detail and i like the framing very well done and keep up the good work

This image made me smile and thats what photography is all about either thought provoking or funny yours being the latter its as if the squirrel is saying can i have some more its just a pity it wasnt facing you but still very well done for capturing the moment and giving me a smile

Being in the right place at the right time and quick with your camera is everything when it comes to photography and all those elements came in to play with this image, i really like it the image tells me a story of your walk in the woodland coming across this young deer, the composition is very good and its sharp with good DOF a well deserved commended image well done

Its amazing what you can photograph in your own back garden i have seen them before when disturbed they move to deter predators these sawfly larvae as they spring out its all about timing and you captured them perfectly with the shapes they created its as if they were all dancing for you, its nice and close so you actually made them look a lot bigger than they actually are, a well deserved top ten place

An unusual and beautiful image the frog in a pond looking up at the frogspawn, its something i've never seen before and i even spotted the silhouette of a newt in the background, i think this photo would have been tecnically challenging so very well done, I love the composition, the frogs detail and sharpness, it goes to show you don't have to travel far to capture amazing photos, there is lots of beauty to be found locally, a worthy winner, so very well done indeed and keep up the good work

Excellent capture using an iphone its very sharp with good detail what i would have tried is to move further back and lower level to get more perspective of the surroundings, sky and backdrop the photo would have been different again its still a lovely image sometimes its worth experimenting as you take the photos, keep up the good work

The eyes have it as soon as i spotted this image in the competition i had to go back and view it again, the owls eyes are very piercing and they draw you into the photograph, i like how you have framed it just to right off centre its nice and sharp well done and keep up the good work
