I love the composition of this image. the central positioning of the building and its tower that creates an angle along the roof parallel to the Milky Way complements the whole scene. the choice to light the building with such a white light also whilst adding mystery and drawing the viewers eye into the building, complements the pale lavender sky..
The leading lines in this landscape really draw the viewers eye inward. the warm yellow attracts onlookers to the buildings allowing them to then follow the path beside them. and the windy water way and light trail draws the viewer into the centre of the image. I love how the green and red (complementary colours) are used to GRAB the eye and drag you in. my only feedback would be so somehow reduce blur on the boats. ( perhaps by combining a still and the long ?) overall a great image though!

This image caught my eye because of its both cool and warm pastel colours that appear to seamlessly blend and work together. the pale scene of this image really works with providing a tranquil and peaceful landscape. I love the composition whereby the symmetrical building perfectly divides the sky and water. my only critique would be the bright orange on the left that is a bit distracting. but other than that it is a great photo that you should definitely consider selling as a print.

For this contest I would like to see your photos which have been captured at night using a long exposure, where a source of light is the main subject of tbe photo. Images could include subjects such as light painting streaks, astrophotography and car lights trails, or any other subject where light is the main feature and has been captured at night time with a slow shutter speed. The photo must have light as the key identifiable feature, such as from a torch, wire wool, car lights, stars, etc. All photos must have been taken at night. Use of a tripod or another camera stabilising device to prevent camera shake is recommended, unless using intentional camera movement techniques.
I love this image. its natural, organic curves that are lit up by the car light trail really take you on a journey throughout the image. drawing the viewers eye everywhere. the bright yellow light complements the blue sky helping it stand out as well as the blue dulling it and softening the scene. the composition and the whole image in general is well thought out. good job.!!!
