Looking Up or Looking Down

Ah I just love Alesund in Norway and know this viewpoint very well although I have never been up there at dusk. The exposure has been very well handled with plenty of detail in the townscape and the background mountains. Well done on your Top 10 place.

I simply love this unusual angle of one of my favourite springtime flowers, the light and detail on the poppies is in my mind breathtakingly beautiful, the detail in the sky works very well, I doubt if there has been much done in post production maybe just a teak.

I joust love this image with it's strong lines it's nice and sharp and the exposure has been very well handled with no burn out even the sky has quite a lot of detail in it, many congratulations to the photographer.

A very well seen viewpoint with what I take to be an open staircase framing the buildings, the exposure has been handled very well and I like the conversion to mono. some birds or a plane in the sky would have a bonus.
