Thank you to everyone who entered this contest. My winning vote goes to this wonderful collection of Lego bricks. Apart from taking me back to my younger days when Lego was my go to toy this is a particular well thought out photograph which fits the brief I set out for this contest, it’s a bit quirky in its lay out, not the normal way you would see Lego but by filling the frame in this way it creates a beautiful image. Thank you for taking the time to lay this out and congratulations on your first place. Best wishes Phil.

Thank you for entering your photograph “Pile of crosses”. Although the subject matter is well known for what they are the reason this made my top ten is for the sheer strangeness of the volume of these crosses. It makes for a very interesting story of how and why these are here. It is certainly very striking and mysterious. Congratulations on your top ten finish. Best wishes Phil.
Thank you for entering your photograph “Oil cans”. What a super collection of cans, beautifully presented and nicely captured. An unusual hobby but one that creates an interesting talking point especially if this is in your front room! Filling the frame with such colourful items makes for a great image. Congratulations on your top ten placement. Best wishes Phil.
Thank you for entering your photograph “Old paint spray cans”. On first seeing this I was baffled as to what these were, thankfully your description made it clear and that then lead to another question as to why, why would someone have a collection of old spray cans? But I am glad they have and I am very pleased that you have photographed them. It makes for an interesting photo and the sort of weird items that this contest was made for. Congratulations on your top ten finish. Best wishes Phil.
