Making Memories

I use my gut feeling a lot when I review photo's, the first time I saw this photo it moved me firstly, I felt the emotion, I love the way the helper has stooped down to be at the same level , that his arm is embracing the chair and man inside. Secondly I noticed what a great photo it was, the capture , the positioning , the editing that makes you feel like your there thus bringing back all the emotions and memories of the day when looked at years later. A wonderful photo that gained my first place.

In this competion I had lots of wedding photos to chose from , but I thought many people have their wedding photo's around them on their wallsas a constant reminder, I was looking for a wedding photo not posed , just captured in a moment ..an honest emotional photo and this photo is it. The love and happiness that is portrayed on the man's face is so obvious and natural. I like that you can't see the brides face, you don't have to as you know at that moment she is the most beautiful lady in the world. Its a caught moment that is very special and I wanted to acknowledge this as a great photo!

This photo says Happy fun times that involved family and friends, its an original capture , love the use of the window frames with the reflection of the garden on one side, It's a photo that will without doubt bring back good memories in later years, many maybe forgotten but prompted by this exceptional photo. Well done!

In this competition I had alot of mother baby photo's but this one stood out as it focused on the mother, I loved the capture of the mothers face clearly showing a sense of pride , love, happiness and peace with the outline of the sleeping baby on the edge of the photo. I love the naturalness and honesty of a very beautiful photo that captures the memory for a child of the love he or she has been born into...
