Moments of Highs or Lows

Wow - I congratulate you for capturing such pure and unbridled happiness in the face of the bride. It isn't very often that we humans show our deepest feelings in such candour. For me it doesn't matter at all that it is a typical 'snap', technically far from perfect - as the feeling of happiness couldn't be shown more clearly. Thank you.

The beginning of a new life - which moment could be more exhilarating than that! The new mother's face says it all, words couldn't describe it. The photo is so effective as it focuses only on mother and baby, all the others are just surrounding. All the technology disappears into the background, it isn't relevant anymore for this strong emotional and unforgettable human moment.

This is the image I couldn't forget from the moment I saw it. It is heart breaking in its grief and the intimacy of the moment took my breath away. Nobody would want to change position with the two women, obviously mother & daughter, in their understandable distress. A very emotional, but very dignified photo. You are my very worthy winner, congratulations.

This image demonstrates very well the unbreakable human spirit and determination. You can feel the exhaustion but also the exhilaration of finishing. A wonderful photo! These are no athletes or celebrities, but people from all walks of life, fighting against their comfortable lethargy and laziness, to triumph at the end. The woman in the centre reminds me so much of me, when I was younger. Take a challenge and get through it!!
