Moss and Lichen (in colour)

I love how you have chosen to single out just a part of the bench to focus on what would normally go unseen. The lichen looks like it truly belongs there. Very crisp detail and a lovely shallow depth of field really enhances your main subject. A great image deserving a place in the top ten. Congratulations on judge 3rd place.

This image is indeed quite magical. Literally a sea of green moss coating the trees and totally fitting the brief. This would certainly be a place that I should like to visit. This is a lovely crisp and clear image of lichen. The silver/grey is set off nicely with a touch of colour from the maple buds, and the yellow in the lichen. Nice composition and clear in detail. A lovely lichen image. Congratulations on judge 2nd in my contest and thankyou for entering.
