What an incredible place where so many beautiful waterfalls run together into tuquoise waters! Great display of elegant fan like falls, jumping from the cliffs or taking their time when the slopes are moderate. This is a perfect enchanted and enchanting Winter landscape! Ready for a fairy tale! The slim trees open the curtain for the scenery and allow us to appreciate the large and beautiful blue-green lake set amidst fleecy mountains and clouds. Romantic and mysterious Isle of Skye! These Fairy Pools must really be a fantastic place to visit!. No doubt: this outstanding shot is a good amabassador for them. This photo shows how an ephemeral, light, can suddenly spread fairy over a landscape, and, consequently, into a photo luckily shot at this very special, moment! I do appreciate the exceptional purity of the air, enveloping the whole scenery. The photo mixes delicate colours with stronger touches of orange which highlight the whole. The small waterfalls, open like elegant fans in the foreground and seem to celebrate the generous water running down from the mountains. The blue sky, the white clouds, the sharp and mineral peaks of the Dolomites are perfectly reflected in this beautiful mountain pond. How lucky for having such a perfect mirror! What an unexpected, almost surreal reflection! Very stunning composition as the angle, is very unusual. The steep slope in the foreground, with its centered lines, runs into the frame of the photo and cuts the mountains in two parts.! Very exquisite morning in Lofoten, at the very precise moment when the sun hits the top of the mountains. Some soft and warm colours in the sky, reflected in the water, break the shadows of the vanishing night. The clear spots appearing on the water give the photo a stark relief which brings the scenery to life, as if we could enter.... I do appreciate the moderation in the colours. Lots of silvery waters reaching the horizon and all sides of the photo. I wonder where this is.?... Anyway, it seems to be a very romantic place, to explore with good shoes, jumping from stone to stone, avoiding to get the feet wet.!
