Your photo demonstrates a keen eye for beauty and shot location. The amazing mirror effect of the lake gives me double the pleasure just gazing at the photo for a long period of time.

When I look at landscape scenery in Scotland, I imagine the difficulties you can face because of the weather conditions.
This shot is completely opposite of my perception and you have changed my mind about the beautiful scenery there. I can't wait for my first trip there next year.

First, thank you for entering your photos in my contest. This is a stunning shot. The mirror effect and depth were great. The coloring for this location is wonderful. If you look close enough on the mountains you see the orange-red section that I assume is some sun peeking through.
Congratulations on top 7. You could frame and hang this in most rooms.
I knew this was a top 10 photo from the first time I saw it. When a photo catches my attention and I keep looking at it, that's a sign there is really something there. (I mean this with a special emphasis).
The stunning capture in natural light and the depth it displays were two contributing factors to my selection. There is a slight hint of the mirror effect with the momma moose. The movement of water tells me you did not have the best conditions to shoot yet you still brought out the best this location has to offer.
The cloudy conditions tell a story all by themselves. These wetlands had to take you awhile for the nature hike.
Finding the location then waiting on a spectacular shot is hard in any environment but you pulled it off in a great way.

First, thanks for entering my contest with this lovely photo. When I first saw it I was captivated by the beauty. I placed it in my top 10 immediately. From that point on, I was looking for other photos that compared to it.
The depth perception was astounding. From the grass wetland at the bottom of the photo then moving upwards, the photo was equally divided. The forest land on the other side flowing back to the mountains added strongly to the overall effect. Another highlight for me was the way the clouds formed over the mountains.
Great job with color, clarity and emotion. You can picture yourself standing on the edge of the lake taking in all the beauty. Congratulations on your 1st place finish.

Your photo caught my attention right away and it was placed in my top 10. I can see this hanging framed on a wall at ski resorts or lodges throughout the world.
I love winter wonderlands and this is one of the best I have ever seen from a landscape perspective.
