A big thanks to everyone that entered this contest - there were many excellent images.
This image struck me right away with its interesting composition in the way it is cropped and your seamless integration of the nature elements in the overlayed exposures in both the light and dark areas. The composition moved away from the typical multiple exposure portrait image where portions of the person become more replaced with other elements. Congratulations on 1st place!
Firstly, thanks for entering. This is very well done and grabbed my attention right away from viewing it the first time. The black and white conversion along with the gritty cinematic detail adds to the overall effect. I like how you have shown attention to detail with the clothes changes and with both portraits direct eye contact to the camera along with the expressions leave me wondering what is on your mind resulting in me to keep returning to the image to ponder this. Very well done and congratulations!
This image made me laugh straight away and instantly became one of my favourites. Their is a clear theme and story with the image, thus having an extra level to it rather than simply a portrait. The way in with you have utilised the double exposure effect whilst keeping the portraits separate works well and is attention grabbing, alongside the the grain and texture overlay adds to the story in terms of an extra level of noise to silence! congratulations on an excellent image and thanks for entering!

In this contest I would like to see you best creative human portrait photos using the multiple exposure technique, whether created in-camera or in post-processing using positioning, image layering and blending modes. Multiple exposures are where more than one of your photos are superimposed within a single frame. Please use a minimum of two exposures in your composition but feel free to use as many as you like. The concept of your photograph is open as long as it is human portraiture, whether it be emotions, movement, illustrating an activity, abstract, or just be completely surreal etc. The main subject and focal point of the photo must be the person's portrait but the overall composition may include other elements. Your photos may be in colour or black and white. I am looking forward to seeing what you create.
