Vintage, retro, inspiring and much more. I love the use of light or lack of with this shot it adds to the time period and solitude of a composer I think. the reds really push a warm feel and make dream of the composition being written.

old battered and bruised a feeling im sure all musicians have felt and a fate destined for near but all musical instruments. I think the image is powerful yet gentle and the use of a more sepia tone enhances this, with the room falling into disrepair the piano keeps your attention and the eye falls down the line of the keys. great shot.

WOW the colours, the framing, the feel everything ticks the box for me. I couldn't possibly think how to make this image better, once I had seen this submission I knew it was the one to beat and a high bench mark for the rest it completely captures the competition.

don't tear my heart, my achy break heart. This shot gives me clear country vibes, dark and rich lovely highlights and very nice clarity on the hat. after seeing this image my mind immediately wandered to what country music I felt like listening to there and then which shows the power of this shot .
