Natural Sunrays

This is such a fun photo! I love the composition and placement of each of the subjects. By fitting in the boat and person with the full sun rays in the background and the hills creeping in on the side it gives it a lot of depth without being too busy, and the colors bring out the beauty in the sunset without being too overwhelming.

This is a beautiful photo and was so close to making my top ten, but this contest was so hard to choose just ten photos! I loved the point of view you chose and the amount of contrast, it looks like the sun rays are surrounding you and the darkness of the tree in the center allows you to focus on the sun rays as the main subject and they are shining beautifully.

I won't lie, for a second I thought you might have drawn this up, t looks like some sort of outer space asteroid beaming out light, this photo is awesome! It is one of the most unique photos I received for this contest. I love the creativity and the range of blues from complete darkness to bright white gives it great depth without looking too busy. Great job!

This is such a beautiful photo! The timing of this photo is perfect to really capture all the action and the sun rays add some dramatic effect. I appreciate that this is in black and white because it helps the viewer to focus on the horses sparring in the water, whereas the excess color might have taken away the dramatic effect/action.

This is a refreshing take on this theme of sun rays, typically you think of yellow, orange, white even, but this purple works beautifully with the flowers and the green is the perfect contrast. The hills and mountains add great depth and the roadway is a great detail that adds even more depth. I appreciate how it's not oversaturated especially with the purple, it gives a nice dark glow and has a cool dramatic effect!
