I absolutely love this shot but for me, there wasn't enough of an eerie feeling to be included in my top 10 choices. This is a shot I would purchase in a store to hang on my wall. It has a nice fresh feeling to it and the composition is very well framed along with the leading lines of the bridge bring my eye to the tower structure. Very well done!
This shot makes you feel tiny against these towering trees! I enjoy the feeling I get from this shot. I didn't get much of an eerie feeling from this picture but it's still an amazing shot! Keep up the good work! Some personal advice that I live by, give good descriptions and stories to your shots. This tends to increase your audience because people love reading about the photographer and their ideas behind their work.
The desaturation, the birds flying and the dead looking tree make this shot really satisfying to look at and also adds an eerieness to the overall composition. Very well done shot. My advice to you if you're serious about photography, I would look into investing in a full-frame camera with some good lenses eventually. The shot is amazing but with a full-frame camera and a good lens, you will be able to capture a lot more information in your shots, especially low light shadows and highlights giving you better quality in the final product. Shooting RAW will also give you a lot more information to work with in post-processing. Well done!
I actually love this picture. I have no clue what plant it is but it intrigues me. It also surprised me to see that this was taken with a mobile phone. The blue background with the reddish-orange thorns really give off a complimentary look. The eeriness for me personally, comes from the sharpness of the thorns along with the blue colour of the background. The only thing I would have done differently is added more details to the description and the story behind the shot but it is a very unique looking shot! If I were you, I'd start looking into investing in a good camera. I think photography is a clear choice for you.
The colour in this shot is very pleasing to the eye. The eeriness is very well composed and I feel this shot deserved a review even though it didn't make my top 10. I really enjoy the coolness that comes off of the image from the lighting, fogginess and colouring. There isn't anything I would change about this image. My only advice to you is to include a better description and story about the shot. People love reading the story behind a shot. Great work!
I love portrait photography as it's one of my choices of photography styles that I focus on. This shot really shows off the model's intensity and fiery soul. I didn't really get an eerie feeling from this shot, which is why I couldn't include it in my top 10 but it definitely deserves some praise on how well captured it is. Impressive work!
I love all macro photography because it gives you a better appreciation for the small things in our world. This shot was one of my top 20 choices but I couldn't include it in my top 10 because personally, I don't get an eerie feeling from creatures of the earth. That being said, it is still a very well taken shot and deserves some attention. Very well done!
The haunting look and eerie feeling you get from this picture are very well produced with the low saturation of the colouring, not to mention how well the lighting fits the scene. When I look at this shot, the first thing that comes to my mind is the movie Maleficent. The look and emotion I feel are very similar to when watching that movie. It's amazing what a good photographer can make you feel with the composition of a shot. I have no critiques on the shot itself but I would definitely add a description and story about the shot to engage your audience more. Very well done.
I really enjoy the lighting through the smoke in this shot along with the silhouette. I found this shot was eerier than your other shot because of the child holding the hand of the adult. I don't really have any critiques but I think a similar shot with more empty space around the subjects would also look amazing. Either way, this is a really well-done shot!
The composition and colours in this shot are insanely beautiful, the way the orange compliments the blue really adds to the composition! I love the eerie darkness with the sun trying to peek through the misty background! You could improve this shot even more by using a tripod so you can bring the shutter speed down and lower the iso as low as possible to eliminate most of the noise in your image. Bringing the shutter speed down will give you a similar exposure after lowering the iso but will also increase camera shake, which is why you need the tripod.
I enjoy the eeriness of this shot; it has a very weird creepiness to it. I don't really have any critiques for you other than, I personally would have tried to use a tripod so I could lower the shutter speed and bring the iso down as far as possible to remove noise in the image. Great shot overall though!
I adore this image and the way the light is shining through the trees. I didn't get an eerie feeling from this shot, I actually got the opposite. I have more of a peaceful, relaxing vibe that I get from this shot and It is very well composed. If this was my shot, I would personally get this printed on a large canvas and hang it on the wall at my home. Amazing job!
This is one of my favourite shots out of all the 500 pictures in the contest. However, I could not include it in my top 10 because I don't get an eerie feeling from this shot. I personally get a fantasy vibe while looking at this shot. It's such a beautiful shot that I had to explain why I didn't choose this for my top 10. I hope you understand. I love the shot either way! Keep up the amazing work!
Another amazing shot I wish I could include in my top ten but to remain fair to the contest rules, I couldn't include it. This shot gives me a relaxing-peacefulness rather than an eerie feeling. I absolutely love the pureness of the white along with the birds giving off a very peaceful vibe. Though your shot didn't make my top 10, I would definitely think about entering this into a peaceful type contest. Amazing work!!
I really like how the red of the clothing pops against the green, giving off a very complementary colour scheme, it's very pleasing to the eye. In my personal opinion, I would bring the model closer to the camera making the subject larger, which would bring more red into the composition. You could also try using the rule of thirds to crop out some of the blurred foreground which would complement the background and give off a better look. This is all my opinion of course and you are free to choose what you want to do. Great work!
I had a very hard time choosing between my top 3 choices but this one had to be included. This is a stunning shot indeed. The cool, dark colouring along with the foggy background really makes this shot stand out from the rest. I also love the way the trees majestically twist and turn around each other like a dance in the wild. The title is very fitting for this photograph as well. The only thing I would change myself is I would add a description and tell the story behind the image. People love knowing the story behind the photographer and his or her thoughts about the image. Amazing work!

Originally, I chose your shot as my 5th place but after looking at it more in-depth, I decided the composition and the colouring captured the eerie topic I asked for. I enjoy the foggy background and the triangle shape that the trees outline giving it a tunnel effect into the unknown. The shot itself does not need any critiquing. I do, however, have a strong belief in limiting the tags of an image to 3-5 descriptive tags or hashtags. I find having too many tags can look unprofessional. Just some food for thought because in the end, it's up to you. I am very impressed with this shot! Keep up the good work.

Though I do not get an eerie feeling from this image personally, I wanted to review your shot because of how majestic it looks. I personally think if the person in red were more in focus, this shot would be even more amazing than it is already. That being said, this is a very well composed image and you shouldn't give up on improving more even if you think you've reached your peak, keep going! I look forward to checking out more of your shots.
This is a really cool picture, the eeriness of this shot not only comes from the skull but the sepia styled colouring really adds to it too. I personally think if you brought the highlights up and very slightly increased the shadows, it would bring out more details giving it more of a "pop". I also think the crop might've looked better if the skull was in full view and not cropped off. I also recommend that you add as much details to the story and description about the image giving us, the viewers, a better understanding of what your thoughts are on the shot. Very cool image! One of my favourites! очень хорошо сделано
