Nature in Close-Up and Macro

This is possibly the most amazing image I have seen, the colours vibrant, they catch the eye and hold you engaged in the image after because of all the amazing little details. on this grass hopper (Locust Gomphocerus Sibiricus.) This photograph is an extreme inspiration to me to want to get back into the macro world and attempt to even get an image half as good as this one and I am sure you have inspired so many other photographers to want to do the same. What an amazing extreme macro of this ant! I don't know of any other photo that shows the detail of an ant in this way, you have absolutely nailed this image and I really find the composition amazing as well. This photograph enchants me, draws me in and has me drifting off into ideas of a magical Forrest full of fairy's and other mystical creatures of nature. I don't think I have ever seen an image that displays the tiny sports shooting out of the mushroom, what a beautiful and unique thing to have captured and you have done this in such a magical way, this photo is truly enchanting and so very stunning. What a rare moment to capture, I am in awe over this stunning photograph! The moment alone is something amazing to capture, but you have not only captured the moment, you have done it in the most beautiful way. I love the rich earthy tones, the magical atmosphere of the image with the rain falling overhead on the mushroom and mantis. The mushroom looks as though it is an umbrella for this little guy and he is ready to attack anyone who enters. A beautiful moment in nature captured so perfectly! This photo makes me smile and gives me a feeling of joy, possibly because of all the happy and positive colours, or maybe it is because this bee looks like a little grandpa bee with the hair looking like a goatee covered in pollen. What a beautiful photo, such wonderful lighting and detail. I really like the softness to this image as well and the blue reflecting into the eye of the bee. One sees images of barnacles day after day, most of them are mundane and hold no interest. However this image is a winner, truly a beautiful macro of the barnacles, you don't often get to see these up close and personal and on such a gorgeous multi colored mineral in the back. Not only am I a photographer, but I'm a rock hounder, collector and hobbyist lapidary artist. So anything with minerals and crystals always catches my eye. This one however has to be one of the best and most eye catching macros of a mineral and what a beautiful mineral as well, this one is one of my favorites with it's vibrant colours and unique patterns. Any artist would be happy to have this slab to cut and any fine art collector and mineral enthusiast would be psyched to have this on their wall.
