Thank you for entering this contest! I found your image very reminiscent of traditional portraiture. Why this is a reference, your focal points are similar to Diane Arbus. Please research Richard Avedon's American Mid West series, I feel this would be inspiring for future portrait sessions!

The Game at Pangong - Congratulations! This landscape portrait immediately got my attention. Mainly as this image is framed with cinematic references and your use of layering between foreground and back is very successful here. You made a good move for measuring the greyscale, we can appreciate the vast mountain scape all the better. Well done!

This is a loveable portrait and interesting framing with the wide cropping, it looks like you're in motion with the inclusion of blur on the left. You've captured a moment which feels special, and I'd suggest editing the perspective in the corner to bring more attention to the subject.

I want to emphasise this image as travel narrative, the lighting is strong and moulded well on your subjects. To further this, I feel you could shoot with a 28 mm lens for more detail. This is a skill adapted by yourself which is good for natural capturing, continue developing these skills!

I love the cinematic value this landscape shows, heavy B&W use featured with the pose of a driver fits really well in this framing. I’d suggest editing the contrast of the driver slightly darker and the road brighter to balance this all out. Well done!

Thank you for submitting this photo to this contest, great model captured and colour tones with the landscape backdrop. If you're interested to pursuing portraits like this in a future photoshoot, position your model within the full frame and research headshot posing.

Depths of Light - This is a great use of studio lighting, and it's always tricky to balance a modelling light within a dark studio setting, however you've made a successful warm image. I'd suggest shooting at a lower iso and shutter!

Thank you for submitting this photo to this contest, great layering captured and grey tones with a creative approach to use of colour. If you're interested to pursuing photos like this in a future photoshoot, experiment using a Lensbaby lens. You'll gain great results like this and appreciate how fun photography is.

This portrait has so many theatrical references with lighting, location and pose. I’m certain it draws any viewer in to this majestic landscape. I commend you on the distance of shooting, it suits the pose by your model. I feel you could shoot at a lower aperture with a focus on your model next time. Try it!

Recently, football documentation has become an editorial trend for indie websites, and I'm glad to see it here. Your framing here is a major success, you have involved many storytelling points of views with your subjects. I'm also a fan of your colour grading too, please continue this approach to documentary photography!

Strolling by the Tomb - I really love how delicate this portrait and the sense of calm it brings to the eye. You’ve balanced the lighting so well that it doesn’t over expose or under, with the difference of shadows. Your location has a hyper realness which would be interesting to lean into in post-production.

Thank you for including so much detail behind this interesting portrait, capturing candid moments so successfully like you have, is a true serendipitous triumph. There are great focal points throughout and clever colour grading. Although noise helps here, I feel a lower ISO would boost quality overall.

I love how fantasy driven this portrait is, you've styled this well and made great choices with casting and prop use to further your storyline. With all these attributes, I'd suggest thinking about your cropping and the inclusion of your model's foot would make this all stronger!

I wanted to review this image both for your statement and approach to the subject of phone use. I recommend for you read the theory of selfie taking as a comparison to sending postcards. Visually, this is well shot with your aperture choice and great grading too!
