Objects out of their time (no re-enactments)

A photo that shows us an ancient metro sign, inserted in the context of the facade of the Pompidou Center in Paris. Particularly interesting is the mix of colors, as well as the writing of the scheduled exhibitions (from which we deduce the photo was taken in 2007), which create a curious contrast with the writing Metro.

A really interesting idea. The context is a street with ancient buildings, and two old telephone boxes. We could be in the nineteenth century, and the blurred and black and white image seems to suggest it to us. But then here is a modern smartphone, through which you can see the image taken in color and in sharp focus.

This image is truly suggestive. Two vintage cars, the first of which is really beautiful and in great shape, with the elderly gentleman preparing to return to driving. What makes me think of a temporal paradox in this image? Apparently the rest of the photo has no particular characteristics of modernity. But instead it is clear from many small details that we are in our day, such as the sensor on the column, or the traffic light. And anyway the setting that we will expect with those two old cars, is an unpaved road, with an old gas station.

A library with very ancient texts, centuries old. At their side, a completely different era, but perfectly integrated into the context of the image, a modern wall telephone. The perspective of the books is interesting, which together with the blurred, gives the photo depth. The staircase is a fundamental element, I believe that without that, the image would have remained poor.
