Old-fashioned Still Life

Here is another photo hardly distinguishable from a painting. The delicate light coming from above creates an excellent play of light on the jug and on the three apples, placed on top of a red cloth, whose folds closely resemble the Flemish paintings.

This photograph is linked to time, as the dried flowers and the clock testify. Its title, "ancient words", recalls the books on the wooden desk. The light only illuminates objects, leaving parts of the image in the shade, and creates an effect that makes the photo very similar to an ancient painting.

This remarkable photo is the almost perfect copy of a seventeenth-century Flemish still life. On the tablecloth there are various types of vegetables, from pumpkin, to carrots, to radishes, as well as a basket of mushrooms and some corn on the cob. The background is made up of a dirty wall, flanked by two dark curtains. A meticulous and well done job.

This excellent photo reconstructs a scene of the early twentieth century, and indeed, it seems that time has stopped, as evidenced by the withered flowers. The question that arises spontaneously is what happened to the family portrayed in the framed photo. Perhaps the war has taken the husband away from home, as the featured postcards might suggest. A well-deserved award.

This nice image that brings back to the times of prohibition, with a particular note of humor. A poster tells us that there is a $ 5000 bounty on "Machine Gun" Kelly's head, but he doesn't seem to be having too much trouble, as the bold framed photo shows. Obviously, a bottle of whiskey, with two cups, cannot be missing.
