On the Edge

I like the abstract way you have interpreted the title of this contest. Your stark, black and white image captures the emotion well. I do hope you are in a better place now. Thank you for the thought provoking entry.

Who could resist this little chap? He is clearly standing on an edge, is pin sharp and I like the low angle that makes him look as big as he thinks he is! The exposure is excellent as is the composition, altogether an excellent entry. Thank you.

As an 'owner' of Harvest Mice which are on a release scheme for the local wildlife trust I get the opportunity to photograph them myself. This study is quite exceptional, they are such fast moving, twitchy little creatures that I truly admire your skill in getting four in complete focus, the highlights in all their eyes is remarkable. I think the B&W treatment highlights their fragility. A wonderful entry, thank you.

I just couldn't resist including this in my Top 10. It fulfills the title of the challenge perfectly but it is the sharpness and the lighting that sets it apart for me. I love the way the cat is staring straight into the camera - it is almost unnerving. Altogether an excellent entry, thank you.
