Simple and stunning - a perfect fit for the brief and a feast for the eye, which isn't distracted by anything else. The small white blossom reminds me of our plum blossom in its structure, and the angle and size of the branch is perfect. Thank you so much for this beautiful image.

What is not to love about this beautiful image! The composition and light are absolutely perfect, and I love all the lichen and moss on the branches, which makes it so much more interesting and characterful. I'm certain that it's a very old tree somewhere in the countryside and it reminds me of some of the old apple trees in our orchard. Congratulation on being my winner, I absolutely adore and love this image.

Thank you so much for entering this image. I absolutely love the composition and the colours. First, I thought that it didn't really meet the brief as it didn't show a clear blue sky, but after looking at it several times I realised that the thin clouds greatly enhance the image, making it more interesting. It's beautiful as it is.
