Sweeping vistas have a big wow punch about them, and do a great job of conveying the vastness of a landscape in a smaller form. Nowadays software does an amazing job of stitching together a bunch of photos for you, or maybe you’ve got a super-wide lens and a simple crop is all that’s needed. We’re looking for any kind of landscape, including urban ones if that’s your bag, but the image must be panoramic, meaning that it is a lot wider than it is tall.

Seeing images such as this one really has made judging this competition so nice. I love your choice for the letterbox presentation to pull the viewer's eye into the crucial part of the shot, that gorgeous backdrop of the sky with the rugged textures of the stones themselves. A really well-balanced and proportioned shot that I am so happy to see in the top 10
This is a gorgeous location shot with the scene being set nicely with the blacks of the water and the whites of the trees running through the shot. One of the big stand-out things in the shot is the use of both panoramic shooting skills and also that of the infra-red work, resulting in a truly amazing piece of work, thank you very much for sharing it with us.

I like your attention to detail with the trees making up such an important part of the image, then the nice highlight in the middle of the frame draws your eye into the pathway and through the image, that is nicely done.. Just be mindful of the focus on the trees as they look like they could be a little bit sharper.
This was another gorgeous image that was so nice to see, I was here at the end of 2023 and it was horrible drizzly weather, this is the kind of shot I would have been so happy walking away with, detail, movement and colour-rich. Its so nice to see you have done a great job by hanging around such a while after sunset, something so many of us can be very guilty of doing.
I like the location of your image and the way the red and golden light fills the frame in abundance. The way that light just paints everything it touches, and leaves everything feeling soft, yet the details are still tack sharp. Everything feels well proportioned and the image as it is is also nicely balanced. A nice piece of work.
This is another great image to have in the 10 for this round. I really like how you have used the road to lead you up to the Château and also that we can see so much in the frame, thus really setting the location of the building so well. But to have then done this and to have caught all these stunning colours and mist is just spectacular. Well done.
