Parade Participants in Colour

This image for me captured the essence of the brief in that it showed the colourful costume and also a participant who was really enjoying herself and getting 8nto the parade spirit. You timed the shot well with her eyes both open and engaging with the crowd congratulations

I liked the way that you took a more documentary photograph to capture the work that goes on in the background and credit the unseen work of the make up artist. You have captured both the concentration of the artist as well as the level of engagement and trust the participant has well done.

This is a great photograph and you have captured both the mask and given a hint of the eyes behind the mask with a faint catchlight in the eyes, there is a good depth of field with the face mask and body of the young lady all in focus but the background sufficiently blurred to let her stand out well done
